New Legislation

As many of you are aware, the Connecticut Association of Tax Collectors together with 17 other agencies and associations have been working to come up with possible solutions to the State Supreme Court’s decision regarding CGS 1-217- Nondisclosure of Residential Addresses of Certain Individuals.  Here is the position paper developed by these agencies which stresses that a “legislative remedy is urgently needed and should be acted upon without delay”.  It is imperative that we address this issue when the General Assembly convenes the 2012 legislative session.
